Visited in October 2025. Very nice location for sunset and after sunset stargazing. The drive to the parking lot and visitor center is a bit long and extremely dark after sunset though. There are dim lights guiding you from the parking lot to the viewing area near the visitor center. It is courtesy to put a red film over your phone's flashlight so as to not add to the light pollution.
